Taurus 905 9mm Revolver: In-Depth Review and Performance

Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this here gun, the Taurus 905. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I know a thing or two about what feels right in the hand and what goes bang when ya need it to.

First off, this here 905, she’s a 9mm. Folks say that’s a good size for carryin’ around. Not too big, not too small, just right, like Goldilocks and her porridge, ya know? It’s a revolver, which means it ain’t got no fancy safeties to mess with. Just pull the trigger and she goes boom. Now, some folks might say that’s dangerous, but I say it’s simple. And simple is good when yer in a pickle.

This gun, she uses somethin’ called moon clips. Now, I ain’t never seen the moon up close, but these clips, they hold the bullets in place. See, them 9mm bullets, they ain’t got no rim like some others, so ya need these clips to keep ’em from fallin’ out. It’s a little fussy, I gotta say, but it works alright once ya get the hang of it.

  • It’s a revolver, not one of them automatics.
  • It shoots 9mm bullets.
  • It uses moon clips to hold the bullets.

The trigger, well, it’s a bit heavy. Ya gotta give it a good squeeze to make it fire. But that ain’t necessarily a bad thing. It means ya ain’t gonna accidentally shoot yerself in the foot, which is always a good thing, right? And they say it’s got somethin’ called a transfer bar safety. Sounds fancy, but all it means is that it won’t fire unless ya pull the trigger all the way back. Safety first, I always say.

Now, I’ve held this gun, and it feels pretty good in my hand. It’s not too heavy, and the grip is comfortable. I can see myself carryin’ it around without it weighin’ me down too much. And it’s small enough to hide, if ya need to. Not that I’m plannin’ on hidin’ from anyone, mind you. But it’s good to have options, ya know?

I ain’t shot this gun a whole lot, but from what I hear, it shoots pretty straight. And that’s what matters, ain’t it? Ya want a gun that’s gonna hit what yer aimin’ at. ‘Cause missin’ ain’t no good to nobody. Accuracy is key, like my grandma used to say about bakin’ pies. Gotta hit the right ingredients, or it ain’t gonna taste good. Same goes for guns, I reckon. Gotta hit the target, or it ain’t gonna do ya no good.

Some folks say this gun is good for carryin’ concealed. And I can see why. It’s small, it’s reliable, and it’s powerful enough to get the job done. And it’s also good as a backup gun for police folks. They carry it as a second gun, just in case. Now, I ain’t no police officer, but I can appreciate havin’ a backup. It’s like havin’ an extra pair of socks, ya never know when ya might need ’em.

So, overall, I’d say this Taurus 905 is a pretty decent little gun. It ain’t fancy, but it’s reliable. It ain’t got no bells and whistles, but it gets the job done. And that’s what matters most, in my book. It’s a good size for carryin’, it’s comfortable to hold, and it shoots straight. What more could ya ask for?

Now, the only problem some folks had was how to get the empty shells out. Real revolver bullets got a little rim on ’em so the gun can grab ’em and pull ’em out easy. But these 9mm ones don’t. That’s why you need them moon clips I was talkin’ about earlier. Gotta have ’em, or you’ll be fiddlin’ around tryin’ to get them empties out all day.

But like I said, I ain’t no expert. I’m just a simple woman who knows what she likes. And I like this Taurus 905. It’s a good, solid gun that I can depend on. And that’s all that matters to me.
