I don’t watch it much myself, too busy with my chickens and garden, but my grandkids, they love it. Always yellin’ at the TV, “Spin the wheel, Grandma! Guess the letter!” Like I got time for that, you know? Gotta make sure the hens ain’t gettin’ into the tomatoes.

Can you believe it? After all these years. They got a new fella comin’ in, Seacrest, they call him. Guess he’s gonna take over. Hope he knows how to spin that wheel good.
Now, how do you win on this show? Well, you spin that big wheel, see? And it lands on a prize, like money or maybe a trip somewhere. Then you gotta guess letters in a puzzle. You know, like those word puzzles in the newspaper, only bigger. If you guess the puzzle right, you get the prize. If not, well, better luck next time, I guess. My grandson told me that sometimes they give away big money, like 35,000 dollars, or even 50,000 dollars! Can you imagine? That’s a lot of chicken feed, that is.

Lordy, what would I do with that much money? Probably buy a new tractor and a whole lotta chicken feed. Maybe even one of them fancy ridin’ lawnmowers so I don’t have to push that old one around in the hot sun no more.

And there’s this YES TV app too, where you can watch it for free. Kids these days, always glued to their phones and computers. Back in my day, we didn’t have no such things. We had to make our own fun, you know, like playing hide-and-seek in the cornfields.
Seems like this Wheel of Fortune show is pretty popular. People all over watchin’ it and tryin’ to guess the puzzles. I even heard about a fella who guessed somethin’ crazy instead of the right answer. “Treat yourself a round of sausage,” he said! Can you believe that? Made me laugh, it did. Guess he was hungry or somethin’. Reminds me of the time old man Johnson tried to fix his fence with chicken wire, silly old goat.
